1:57:20 PM: For the past 35 years barber John Grande has received his clean towels packaged in a single string from the launders. Every week he has wound that string into a ball. It is a testament of time. Grande is closing shop in June and retiring. This is part of an off-beat portrait series I just started. (Thanks to colleague Tracy Deer for introducing me to Grande and his ball of string.)
