I was digging through some archived images and came across a shoot I did with Raquel Beezley a few years ago when I was living in California. Beezley was recently named Miss California USA....after some confusion that made national headlines. I have to admit that I am hooked on textured layers, so bear with me until I get through this phase....

I caught up with Franky Gugliotti, an old friend and the subject of an old photo story, at a rodeo in Goshen, Connecticut. Franky won the bull riding competition. Here's a few images from the day.

I had the opportunity to photograph Martin Sheen and about a dozen other actors during a stop at Sacred Heart University. The troupe performed a short play, Speak Truth to Power, which was part of a human rights conference at the university. Click here to view the portraits toned a bit more traditionally.

On the way down to NYC to visit some friends, my friend Catie and I saw some incredible light in a cemetery. We thought the storm had passed through, but after I took the frame below, we nearly got struck by lightning!
